OUR INSTRUCTORS

Fred Eckroth

Yondan

Fred started his training with Master Robert Teller in 1992. Always having an interest in martial arts, he chose Okinawan Karate due to the its rich history and traditions. In early 1996, Fred had the honor of testing in front of Taika Oyata for his Shodan (1st degree black belt). This started his life long goal to perfect himself and to never stop learning. After 18 years of training, he continues his studies through seminars and Master Teller's tutelage. Traveling to Okinawa for the first time in 2018, he was able to better see and live the culture to give better understanding to his art.

Fred is the primary instructor for the kids' class and also teaches the adult class when Master Teller is not available.

Levi Wolf

Renshi

Renshi Levi Wolf began training in Okinawan karate and kobudo under Master Teller and his son, Jimmy Teller, in 2007. He is the last student to have earned a black belt from Master Teller's deceased Okinawan master, Taika Seiyu Oyata. By day, Levi is an attorney and managing partner of a local prominent law firm. By night, he has been a dedicated student of Master Teller. He has also attended numerous classes and seminars outside of the Pottstown dojo, studying how the techniques of others can be used to enhance his own art. He has traveled to Okinawa and understands its rich culture and history. Levi frequently instructs the TOKA adult classes if Master Teller is unavailable.
